Air Commodore Niranjan Kumar Parhi (Retd) of IIG Varsity delivered a lecture on 'Importance of Cyber Security in Today's Context' at Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) as part of the Dr. Daulatrao Aher Memorial Lecture Series during MUHS's Silver Jubilee celebrations.
He emphasized the need for caution when using social media and highlighted the potential risks associated with excessive online activity. Air Commodore Parhi stressed the importance of regularly updating computer software and operating systems to prevent cyberattacks.
He also underscored the significance of promoting cybersecurity awareness in schools, colleges, and the general public. The lecture was attended by MUHS officials, including the Controller of Examinations and the Dean of the Education Department. Dr. Sandeep Kadu felicitated Air Commodore Parhi for his valuable insights.
